Trace the Numbers: 1 to 10

What this worksheet covers

Trace the Numbers: 1 to 10 is a Pre-K tracing sheet covering ten characters — 1, 2, 3 … 10. Each one is printed as a large, faint outline for your child to trace over, followed by blank space on the same line to write it unaided. Working left to right across the line mirrors the direction of reading and writing, so the sheet builds pencil control and letter formation at the same time.

Skills your child practises

• Correct letter and number formation, stroke by stroke
• Pencil control and steady hand movement
• Recognising each character by shape as well as by name
• Working left to right across a line

How to use it

Trace each big number, then keep going and write it yourself in the empty space on the same line.
