What this worksheet covers
This is a 35-question practice worksheet on full practice exam — set 1 for Class 1, written to the pattern of the SOF National Science Olympiad (NSO). It carries 40 marks and is designed to be attempted in 60 minutes, split across three sections — Section 1 — Logical Reasoning, Section 2 — Science and Achievers Section. Every question is multiple choice with exactly one correct option, and every one comes with a fully worked solution rather than just an answer key — so a child who gets one wrong can see where the reasoning went astray instead of only learning that it did.

- AA chair
- BA book
- CA stone
- DA dogcorrect
Solution: A dog eats, breathes, grows and moves on its own, so it is living. Chairs, stones and books do none of these.3. Amit closes his eyes and someone gives him a lemon slice to taste. Which two sense organs help him know it is a lemon?
- ATongue and nosecorrect
- BEyes and ears
- CSkin and ears
- DEyes and skin
Solution: With his eyes shut he cannot see it. His tongue tastes the sour flavour and his nose smells the fresh lemon scent, so those two senses tell him what it is.
